Promise

Allah did not promise,
Days without pain,
Laughter without sorrow,
Summer without rain,
...

But He did promise,
Strength for the day,
Comfort for the tears,
and light for our ways.
Learn silence as you have learned speech,
Speech will guide you and
silence will protect you.
Be with Allah.
You will find Allah with you.
